Biography

Yueqin Zheng is a Professor at China Pharmaceutical University and leads a research group at the State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines. He is a doctoral supervisor and has been selected for the National High-Level Young Talent Program and appointed as a Jiangsu Distinguished Professor.

Prof. Zheng received his B.S. degree from the School of Chemistry and Materials Science at the University of Science and Technology of China in 2011. He earned his Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Binghe Wang.

From 2018 to 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, working with Prof. Daniel S. Kohane at Harvard and Prof. Robert S. Langer at MIT. He joined China Pharmaceutical University in June 2020.

His work spans chemical biology, prodrug chemistry, controlled drug release, molecular probes, targeted drug delivery, and translational medicine. He has published research in journals including Nature Chemistry, the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Nature Communications, and has filed five international patents.
